My legal name is Mike Maxson…but over the years people have come to know me as DJ Mike Maxx. I am the owner of Premier Wedding DJs, and the headlining dj.
I found my passion for music in high school, when I made mix-tapes that were played at every party. That inspired me to pursue a degree in marketing with a minor in sound engineering.
After I graduated, I accepted a position in corporate sales but always knew that my passion was in music. In 2012, I connected with my partner and mentor Matt Medley and we started Premier Wedding DJs. Since then, we have become one of Pittsburgh’s most popular DJ companies and rock over 150 weddings and events a year.

DJ Medley has been a five star professional DJ in the Pittsburgh region for the past 10+ Years.
He is a Graduate of Shady Side Academy and Duquesne University with a degree in Audio Production & Sound Engineering.
He is one of the most respected DJ’s in the area and we are proud to have him on our team as a founding partner, mentor and DJ!
Andrew started his musical journey in Boston MA and he began studying and playing the saxophone at the age of 9. He continued to play through High School and joined several bands that would play in local bars and restaurants. He followed his passion for music into college where he studied at the prestigious Berklee College of Music. After graduating, he enlisted in the US Army as a saxophone player in the 78th Army Band and toured the country performing with them. He continues to serve our country working for the Army here in Pittsburgh. Some of his most notable accomplishments include concerts with Kool & the Gang, Smash Mouth and playing the National Anthem for several NFL and MLB teams and festivals with crowds of over 5,000 people.
We initially started working with Andrew to provide live Saxophone Services to our Wedding Clients and realized that he had the perfect personality and background to become DJ. He put in the time and effort to train with us and perfect his craft of DJing and he has quickly evolved into one of the Best Wedding DJs in Pittsburgh. We are very blessed to bring his talent and experience to our company. His energy is contagious and will make sure the Dance Floor is Rockin!

JJoe is a Pittsburgh-area native bringing a lifelong passion for music to every event. His journey to become a DJ started by always being “the music guy” who created custom mixtapes that always set the right vibes at any party or event.
More than just a music curator, DJ Joe is an engaging personality who connects with the crowd and can effortlessly transform any gathering into an Epic Party. He’s known for bringing an infectious energy that gets everyone on their feet and keeps the party going strong, making him the life of every event he DJs.
Over the years Joe has become a staple in the Pittsburgh community, having lent his talents to a diverse range of charity & sporting events, auctions, and any type of event that supports the community. His commitment to making a positive impact through music shows you the kind of good-natured person he is.

Jamie, brings a unique blend of artistry and charisma to every event because of his unique background. His journey to become a DJ started as a popular rap artist in Pittsburgh, where his original music created a loyal fan base. He seamlessly transitioned his understanding of audio production through recording his own music, into the art of DJing. His outgoing and fun personality along with his experience as an artist and passion for music have turned him into an exceptional DJ.
Jamie successfully navigates both worlds, continuing his passion as a dedicated recording artist and also excelling as a Professional DJ. His unique blend of technical expertise, artistic vision, and infectious energy ensures an exceptional and truly unforgettable event.
